STEDI Type-X Pro Driving Lights are on the cutting edge of driving light technology, engineered from the ground up to deliver unrivaled road/shoulder illumination and unmatched driving confidence. Each of the two lights in this pack is made from 37 individual Oslon High-Flux LEDs (31 pencil beams, 6 spread) and the combined light output can be thrown a whopping 1.15km, meaning whatever driving obstacle is ahead, you'll be well aware of it with STEDI Type-X Pro lights. The 6 spread LEDs function as flood reflectors that push light right out onto the shoulder of the road, eliminating the need for wide beam covers.

The engineering doesn't stop there, with STEDI pouring considerable resources (both time and testing) to ensure these lights are as durable as they are effective. The optical grade lens protecting the LED casing shares DNA with ballistic glass, making it virtually indestructible. It's also been UV stabilised, so it won't degrade over time under the harsh local sun. This means you won't be needing a secondary cover for your lights, the presence of which typically reduces light transmission and lowers the efficacy of the lights. What's even more impressive is the Ingress Protection rating of 68, meaning the interior structure is completely dust tight, and is safe for submersion in water up to 3m (and let's be honest, if your lights are further than 3m under water, you might have bigger problems).

The unique inner ring fastening system is atypical of lights like this in that they're independent of the main sealing structure, meaning you can change to a colour that suits your vehicle or personality. Included in this pack are grey and orange inner rings to get you started, however black is covered too (simply don't fit an inner ring for this effect). Other colours sold seperately.

Intended to withstand whatever the night can throw at it, the STEDI Type-X Pro Driving Lights are a cut above what the competition can supply. Take the 10mm thick high-pressure die-cast bracket system for example. Steel brackets of 3-5mm are standard elsewhere, but STEDI's commitment to driver confidence includes the confidence that your lights will be up to the task, no matter the occasion and no matter how long they've been installed. The impressive engineering ensures there'll be no excessive vibration and thereby no chance of part fatigue, even when driving on extreme or prolonged corrugations.

The colour temperature of the light itself is 5700K, a cool-white emission that's neither yellow-backed or blueish in hue and carries an industry-leading lumen density per mm2. The net result is you'll be driving with more confidence supplied by a greater volume of light available at light and unrivaled beam throw. Once you have these lights installed, you might find you're only interested in driving after sunset.
